The AudioMoth USB Microphone and Case (Green) together make a splashproof and easy-to-use full-spectrum USB microphone. The device streams audible and ultrasonic frequencies via USB and is designed to specifically run using the free AudioMoth Live App and using the AudioMoth USB Microphone firmware. It uses an identical audio front-end to the standard AudioMoth 1.2.0 variants and doesn’t require batteries. It also has a 3.5mm socket to allow additional external electret condenser (PIP) microphones/hydrophones to be used. The case is made from injection-molded polycarbonate and the acoustic path is protected using a splashproof Gore acoustic vent. The case has an easy-accessible switch and a large loop to take strain off of the USB cable or to make it easy to attach to objects during use.
